LMA Gaydon Event
at
The Gaydon Heritage Car Museum
Gaydon is the last event of the year,This event is a static only which has been held now for a couple of years based in Warwickshire just of the M40,with the doors open at 10am to 5.00pm on a Sunday in October. This is the first time that I taken part at Gaydon I went along with the Baldock group to promote Our flying club and show some of the scale model that we fly.
We got to the Heritage motor centre by 8 o'clock, it was a short drive for us because we went up on the Saturday and stayed at Warwick and spent a day walking a round the town. When we got inside the place was buzzing with modellers and trade setting up all a round the centre Now for a walk a round the rooms
The Ghost Squadron team below had a good turn out with there scale gliders and the hard working tug that makes it all possible, the 111cc greenly designed by John Greenfield
It was nice to see some of the new projects that people have started this year, and hope to see some of them in the air in the future.
Below is the project board of Ivan Goodchild another member of the Ghost Squadron on his Concord that was put on show at the event,Ivan now is doing a larger scale of his Concord after talking to the people from Airbus.
The next group of models are from the NLMFC from Baldock
These very nice scale planes are quite something all being fully flyable.
