This is a strange problem I have had this happen to me a few times, when I get a different car and transmitter out to use, that the transmitter is stuck on training mode, once I put it back to normal mode, I found once I turn it of and go back to it , its gone back to training mode.
Then I realized that what was happening was the steering trim knob was getting moved to less then mid position, and this was enough to change modes.
